I'm going with 8-2. I for now believe that this is a team with cajones that will respond with a vengeance after the tough loss. Hope this is the case. These games are going to be tough though.

Purdue on the road and Northwestern at home are
two extremely challenging games We need to give
Purdue our focus this week and believe that we can

Funny — the UW game seemed, and was, huge. Same with PSU. Both were sloppy performances where we pretty much gifted the game to the opponent, and both were there for the taking and pretty painful.

At this stage, while you’d think we were probably out of the B10 Championship game picture, I actually like our chances. UW isn’t what we thought they might be, and I think they drop another B10 game. I also think we beat NW. I like our chances against UNL. That brings us to next Saturday.

Purdue is definitely a challenge, and I think this one is a toss-up. I do think we win the rest, which would make Purdue possibly the most critical game of the season. If we come out of there with a W, I really like our chances of getting to Indy.

Crazy how a fan’s mindset can go from extreme frustration to hope in a day. Ya gotta have hope.
