I heard that the showers have individual shower stalls there now. Kinda like the dividers in public restrooms?

I think those of you on here who like to spout out with pedophile crap make our fan base look weak. It makes it look like we have to play that card since we can't compete with Penn State. We play that card and we play the "Cael's cheating" card far too often likely because we're getting our asses kicked by them. I wish everyone would let that shit die and focus on the ways we can get back in the saddle and beat those fu**ers (guys)...or focus on the incredible kids we have in the program this year and the promise we see for next year and beyond. I think getting Bo Bassett was a great start and am hoping we receive other good recruiting news going forward that will eventually propel us back to the top of what I think will be a very tight 3-way race in the next couple years. In what way do you hold wrestling fans responsible for horrific acts that were beyond their knowledge, involvement, and control within another sports program over a decade ago? It’s kind of a weird blame. And by bringing it into a wrestling discussion so that you can somehow feel morally superior over an anonymous internet poster and “win” a debate does little more than trivialize the gravity of what happened. Just because you don’t like the wrestling team the fan supports. Smh.

I think it has to do with the lack of empathy a large majority of the fan base had for the very real victims of the Penn St athletic department. Joe pa did less than nothing. The fans rioted when his statue was rightfully taken down. There are those of us who think the university should have been burned to the ground and the ashes shot into the sun.

In other news, Deluca killed everyone at National Preps. Closest match was a 14-2 MD. Gonna do big things in the black and gold
Hopefully he gets to practice with some high scoring twins as well when that time comes.
Plus Spencer, Drake, and Desanto. He is going to have plenty to choose from.
The Moccos were in attendance, hope that dual made Michael’s decision easy.

assuming lilledahl and blaze will 33/41 in the future, little surprised PSU is in the mix. But, if they’re 25/33, then that makes more sense
Which would work great for Iowa as long as Deluca stays 125 for at least 3 years. By his Junior or Senior year I could see Bo up to 157.
Deluca isn’t very big, but who knows. These kids are only 16/17. Bodies change a lot. Land them, get them in and see how it works out.
There's talk of them projecting higher in college, 41/49 or even 49/57. Pains me to say but they'd slot in at psu at 49/57 pretty well after van Ness and Kasak are done if they can get that big and if there's one thing we've seen is psu has no trouble putting big weight on guys.
They are miles away from being college 149/157. You gotta be walking around near 170 to be a 157. People were talking about Rathjen maybe being 165 and he isn't even big enough to be a legit 157 after 4 years in college.
Yep and psu hasn't found the formula to make guys taller. Raneys don't fit psu at all imo.
Bottom line we need to land a minimum of 2-3 legit impact wrestlers every year to have any chance whatsoever of gaining ground on PSU. Relying on projects and dreams isn't going to cut it, if a project hits big it's a bonus but can't be a game plan. The days of waiting and hoping guys develop are over. You need people ready to win out of the gate. You have to have a full stable to win a race. The facility is built now fill it up with top end talent.

2023 class had 2 with Arnold and Kueter but Kueter as a 2 sport takes away from that some.

MVP might very well be right but I think the point is that they are juniors in high school and might be as many as 6 years away from their last NCAA tournament. 132 & 138 this year, let’s say 138 & 144 next. Suddenly 157 doesn’t sound so crazy down the road. Not by a long shot.
