Iowa will be hosting its annual spring scrimmage at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday with several recruits in attendance. In this update, we take a look at the top prospects that will be making their way to Iowa City this weekend.

California wide receiver Maurice Bell, who picked up an offer from Iowa in early February, will have his first chance to visit the Hawkeyes this weekend. The 6-foot-0, 175-pound Bell was also in the Midwest last week to visit Nebraska's spring game. A three-star prospect, he currently holds scholarship offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, Washington State, and UNLV. As a junior, Bell caught 51 passes for 956 yards and 16 touchdowns at Murrieta Valley High School in Southern California.

Texas quarterback Kamron Fields announced on Friday that he will be able to make it up to Iowa City this weekend. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Fields had previously been targeting a June visit date due to his baseball schedule this spring, but now will get his first look at the Hawkeyes on Saturday instead. As a junior at Lakeville Centennial High School, Fields completed 147 of 239 pass attempts for 2,236 yards and 19 touchdowns. On the ground, he finished with 93 carries for 543 yards and four touchdowns. Right now, the Texas native holds offers from Iowa, San Diego State, SMU, and Nevada.

Three-star wide receiver Eric Rooks will be making the trip from Chicago on Saturday. A 6-foot-3, 210-pounder from De La Salle High School, he currently holds scholarship offers from Kansas, New Mexico Western Michigan, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, and Bowling Green. Iowa's interest is relatively new for Rooks, so he looks forward to learning more about the Hawkeyes this weekend.

In-state defensive end Levi Duwa appears to be getting closer to an offer from the Hawkeyes and could leave town with one in hand on Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Duwa put up big numbers as a junior at Mid-Prairie, finishing with 75 tackles, 24.5 TFL, and 14.5 sacks last season. That type of production has helped him earn offers from Minnesota and Eastern Michigan with interest from Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and Kansas State in addition to Iowa.

Also from in-state, Alphonso Soko will be making the drive to Iowa City on Saturday. As a junior, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Soko rushed for 1,161 yards and 18 touchdowns as a running back at Muscatine, but might project more at cornerback or wide receiver in college. Currently, he has interest from Iowa, Iowa State, UNI, and Western Illinois.

In-state tight end John Nagel will be visiting for the spring game on Saturday as well. A 6-foot-6, 230-pound prospect, Nagel has been to Iowa City several times over the past year and continues to stay in regular contact with the Hawkeye coaching staff. Currently, Nagel holds scholarship offers from Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, North Dakota State, UNI, and Illinois State.

Driving down from Minnesota on Saturday will be Alex Facon, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound wide receiver. Facon also attended Minnesota's spring game this month and also has interest from Duke, New Mexico, UNI, South Dakota, South Dakota State, and North Dakota State, but no scholarship offers yet.

The Hawkeyes will also have at least three of their Class of 2017 commits in town in Mt. Vernon offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs, Solon tight end Jacob Coons, and Madrid defensive lineman Coy Kirkpatrick.

Several of Iowa's Class of 2016 recruits will also be in attendance, most notably New Jersey wide receiver Frank Darby, who did not sign a National Letter of Intent in February as he continues to work on qualifying academically. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Darby recently improved his SAT score and just needs to finish up strong in the classroom this semester to make the grade. If he does, he expects to enroll at Iowa this summer. If not, it will likely be prep school for the three-star prospect.

Other incoming freshman that plan to be there on Saturday include Toks Akinribade, Emmanuel Rugamba, Cedrick Lattimore, Chauncey Golston, Alaric Jackson, Cedric Boswell, Amani Jones, Shaun Beyer, Spencer Williams, Toren Young, Amani Hooker, Nathan Stanley, and T.J. Hockenson. Also, Noah Clayberg, who is currently a grayshirt recruit for the Hawkeyes, will be there as well.
