Tragic. Post Covid the quality of officiating, at least at the high school level, has really deteriorate. Officiating a day long tournament is a tough job. Some are just not up to the task.

I don’t know…. Did you see the look on the “refs,” face after calling the pec-fall? He looked confused by the uproar.
I think the ref may have just found the way to improve action. No wrestler gonna choose down with his new rule (so no boring stall rides), and in the first period the fur is gonna fly to try and get first takedown.....err, pin... At the least, if you get taken down, won't be any stalling by bottom guy. Ref deserves a trophy.
Please add the second video where the ref goes back out and says, “After further review the call is confirmed.”

I heard he waved off the pin and awarded 3 nearfall and the kid still lost because of it. And yes his son is on the navy team
