Remember the low TV camera angle in Bloomington before the renovation?

This is, to this day, one of my very favorite memories of my childhood. @IowaPeach took a nine year old me to this game, since despite growing up in southern Indiana, he had brainwashed me into being an Iowa fan from birth. From the despair of being down double figures in the second to the jubilation of that tip in, it was glorious. Of course, being nine and wearing my favorite oversized Iowa hoodie, he will tell you he couldn't get me to shut up and that he thought I would get him into a fight.

Terrible angle but it was definitely unique, so I have a kind of nostalgia for it.

I don't actually mind the higher OSU angle. Williams Arena had something similar before they lowered theirs.

Mackey Arena used to be a little higher as well, as I recall.

The angle at Carver is about right though. Not too high, or too low.

Where did you live in Southern Indiana?
A town called Jasper. It was all good to have your child be an Iowa fan just like you up until the child is ready to go to college, and desperately wants to go to Iowa. Then it becomes out of state tuition.

Nice!
I know some folks from Jasper, and have been there many, many times. Spent most of elementary school in Springs Valley, went to 7th grade in New Jersey, 8th grade in Louisiana, and ended up back in Seymour, Indiana for Freshman year. Never wanted to leave Southern Indiana again, so I'm still here.
