The comparison of Dailey to LaVert certainly clarifies why Michigan tried to jump into MD's recruitment at the 11th hour.

Fortunately they were out of scholarships and trying to talk Dailey into Prep School for a year. I do remember talk of LaVert, and top 100 in another year...

Who was the long lefty OSU had a few years ago? Reminds me of that dude.

Michael Redd???

The reason I believe that he reminds me of Evan Turner is that he was a guard and a good ball handler that went through a 6 inch growth spurt... similar to Scotty Pippen did when he was a freshman in college and the manager of the basketball team...

Just my opinion but Deshaun Thomas was a scorer and a pretty selfish one. Dailey is far more prepared to get his teammates involved.

I'm referring to frame and shot only. He was their best player if I remember right.

Thomas was OSU's top scorer as a junior (he declared for draft after that season) and maybe their top rebounder (? not sure, would have to look at his stats above) but he was pretty much a shoot-first-pass-second guy and he barely tried to play defense during his career.
