I don't think they are getting enough love for the job they are doing this year. I think this line keeps improving and is one of the best they have had in several years. The seniors on both sides are playing great.

Yea the fact that we are not hearing much about the intererior OL is a good thing. They are some of the reliable unsung heroes of the team this year. Glad they are holding up well and finishing the fight as seniors.

I will fess up and say I thought we were in trouble on the interior after Daniels left early. I am happy to be proved wrong! OL overall has been very solid.

The OL is protecting Nate extremely well.

What are the thoughts on why our running game has struggled? Granted, the Maryland game was different.

The running game seems to be a little better than last year so far and improving. Not as many game breaking runs (I think mostly due to Wadley) but we have been more consistent picking up 3-6 yards on the ground.

Also to note, we so far have played teams with stronger defenses and weaker offenses. That will flip down the stretch as the remaining teams have significantly softer D's, so I expect we will keep progressing in the run game and offense in total.

The only negative issue I see with Render is when they try to get him outside/downfield blocking on screens. He looks like he doesn't know WTF he's doing out there. He's very good inside in the run game and pass pro.

I was pretty party pooper about Reynolds this offseason for whatever reason. I’m glad I’m wrong all the time. He’s been fantastic.

Some of it has been defensive schemes. We’ve had 7-8 guys in the box stacked against the run in a few games.

Some of it has to do with rb’s that generally don’t make defenders miss.
