Rep. Ashley Hinson to host telephone town hall Wednesday

Republican Iowa U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson, of Marion, will host a telephone town hall at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.



Hinson announced the town hall Tuesday on her official Facebook page, and said she will provide an update on her work in Congress and answer questions.


Those who wish to participate in the town hall are invited to dial in at (833) 364-1469. Individuals can also sign up before noon Wednesday at https://bit.ly/42pMFHz to receive a call from Hinson’s office to be connected to the telephone town hall.

These town halls are dumb anyway. All you do is call in, you have the option to submit a question, and you just listen on your phone. I did a MMM one a while back. The questions were softball and 3M just used them to give campaign speeches. It was actually boring.

They do screen all callers/questions… however once the caller is live on the call they could ask or say anything. Or they might be just taking softball questions through a screener and not even allowing live callers. Which means you have no idea if any of the questions are from real callers/listeners or just propaganda her team creates to allow her to give canned answers.

If I were a doctor who provides gender care I would ask her how she feels qualified as an eye chart doctor who has been asking patients, "Is this clearer with A... or B", for the last 30 years how she feels qualified to make decisions for their patients.
