I saw him running around and jumping around on the field at Kinnick last year after ISU's win. Honestly ... I've never seen a newspaper reporter act that way after the team he covers has won. Not saying that it doesn't happen ... just saying that I found it to be outside the norm.

I still can't fathom how a beat reporter gets to the point of outwardly cheering for a team, let alone writing ridiculous articles and tweets. But to break your leg (compound freaking fracture no less) while storming the court with fans Is amazing.

I wouldn't say karma, but how do you ever live this down?
