Long time senator John Cornyn will most likely face at least 2 primary challengers, including Texas AG (And, felon), Ken Paxton. Like all else, I can envision Trump dangling his support over Cornyn's head even at the detriment of Texas. Cornyn's sin in the eyes of some Republicans in Texas is that he was not pure in 2021 and acknowledged Biden's win.
