The first "dirty" movie I remember watching. Re-watced a few years ago & a lot of things haven't aged well to say the least...
"Revenge of the Nerds" is a classic comedy film from 1984 directed by Jeff Kanew. It follows a group of socially marginalized college students, the nerds, who form their own fraternity after being rejected by the mainstream Greek organizations. The film humorously explores themes of acceptance, friendship, and standing up against bullies. While it has its moments of controversy, it's remembered fondly for its underdog story and comedic elements.
I love the people who feel the need to push todays morals on yesterdays behavior.

Between this and last the other thread's Porky's post.....wow. 80's had some quality sophomoric movies.
And you are so brave to point out that a movie has fictional events that aren’t always meant to be taken seriously.
And youre so brave to die on the hill that depicting rape in a movie as being ok is just boys being boys.
I still like the movie but can recognize problematic things. Love porkys, lots of issues there too. We can like things and also be like ‘well that was fvcked up’.
Please give us a list of things we should no longer watch. Maybe 16 candles sets you off too.
I didn’t say not to watch it. It’s just okay to recognize things that are problematic.
I feel like with those movies I missed the age window by a little bit. Maybe there was a time and place thing that makes them hit harder for some people. By the time I got to them they were dated and comedy had moved on from those styles.
So did you guys not like Animal House when you were high school? Big Lebowksi? Caddyshack? All of them took things to a close line.
