It's a whole new era for the game. We don't recruit players any more we hire them. I've driven across state to hang with my kids and watch one spring game total. If I watch a spring game on TV I'll be napping by halftime so that part isn't an issue. I have no doubt that we have coaches contacting players, I trust the coach to make the right call.
