He’s been an MMA/sub wrestling coach for years. He was my coach in the early 2000s. He’s a great guy and an amazing coach.

One of my earliest sports memories was being in first grade when my Dad took me to my first dual: Iowa vs Iowa State in 1987 at CHA. Rico was probably my biggest sports hero, IIRC, he had a signature move called the “Rico Roll” that I emulated all the time when I started wrestling soon after.
