We have an interim AD who can't possibly be enjoying all of the inquiries. Frankly it is an embarrassing situation and she has a chance to shine by starting to make big decisions. By the end of the year, it will be clear whether Brian had improved with better players around him. My guess is he will settle it himself, if necessary, so let's set the stage to accommodate whatever he decides on his own. In the meantime, he is the coach of the offense. Period!! with no conditions other than helping to win games.
I would even restore his salary ... and in keeping with the times, maybe even give him a cost-of-living bump.
