Yes, bad deal, sorry to hear that news. Randleman is the grappler that Mark Reiland beat when he won his NCAA title.

Terrible loss. Didn't he have a young son when wrestling at OSU? He and Chelesvig had some tussles. I remember one at Big Tens at Wisconsin that featured quite a spat between Gable and Hellickson. I think that might have been the one where someone from the crowd through something on the mat. Bart got in on several shots in that match, only to have Randleman use those amazing hips to fight them off.

An article I read this morning said he had a Wife and 3 children, but didn't give any particulars on names, ages, etc.

All these years later still stunned that Mark Reiland was able to beat him to win an NCAA Title. R.I.P Mr. Randleman.
