Alright, Hawk fans, the next order of business is to fill the Kirkwood convention center to the brim for the HWC banquet next Friday night, May 19. How about a little roll call?

It's a perfect time to chime in if you've already bought your tickets and/or reserved your table. Also a perfect time to start thinking about who else you're going to invite if you're already planning on going.

And if you aren't yet planning to attend, a great time to make the decision to join us for a f***-filled evening of silent auction, dinner, live auction, terrific conversation, and a ton of laughs. It's gonna be a blast, and you won't want to miss out.

I'll get it started:

We have a whole table (party of 10). . . courtesy of rock-star Hawk fan HawkFT!

So how many you bringing?

See you there, and GO HAWKS!

Wrestling for Life can potentially have 6 tables. We have 3+ filled and will accept seat requests from parents if they agree to bring 2 kids (up to 8th grade) per adult.

Have a table and a cpl of forum guys will be siting with us. As of right now I think we have 3 seats not spoken for. So if anyone needs a seat let me know. Just a reminder a lot of the procedes from the banquet comes form the silent auction so everyone needs to be ready to bid on those items.

Sorry in advance WDM, but is your Primary Role the CWO- Chief WOB Officer. While I'm in NJ, I am curious about the roll call though, I bet there is good attendance and wish I could join ;). I'm sure it will be lots of f*** :)

My goodness -- thanks, kabaz. I'm good for at least one typo per post these days, but that was pathetic! Thanks a lot for pointing that out! WOB corrected.

Now that we have that out of the way, come on out and join us! I'm sure you have some frequent flyer miles burning a hole in your pocket. It's only about a 6-hour trip with a stop at O'Hare. See you there!

My wife and I have reservations for two. This is our first time attending. Been to plenty of Ducks Unlimited and Whitetails Unlimited banquets, and from personal experience those auctions can make for a really pricy night, but its always a lot of fun and for a good cause. With the enthusiasm on the board lately, I'm expecting a fantastic turnout on Friday night.

Love hearing from folks who plan to attend! Who else can make it? Looking forward to meeting as many of the fans in attendance as possible!

I have been every year they have had it. Some items can go for a hefty price but most are very reasonable with plenty of wrestling gear to scooped up. I too would love to see a good crowd. They always seem to have a wrinkle or two at the banquet which makes it fun for multiple timers like me. (That's multiple time banquet guest not State or National Champion)

From what I'm reading on these boards and hearing out of the boys over to Flo I would say someone better start another donation thread for the bar bill at the banquet on Friday. I've heard the subject at hand is pretty good at recruiting good high school kids across the country, but I'm telling you he can circle up the biggest beer drinking sobs in the world without crossing the Mississippi

Who is this, "subject at hand?"

Have any left? Ross and I might go.

Nicely done, very subtle.

Good man!

I'll be a lone wolf, but I just signed up to go!!
Dude, you're never a lone wolf when you're with the Iowa wrestling family! You're among friends, and you'll be welcomed as such, I have no doubt.

And hats off for coming out and supporting the HWC! I guarantee you'll be glad you did. Let's get some more Hawk fans to keep hawkeyecrazy company!
