Rosebowl Hospitality tickets

Saw some of these available for $180. All you can drink, eat, live music, ect. outside the arena. They make it sound pretty sweet and since ticket prices are out of my price range, these may be an alternative option. Is anyone else going to this?

If I spend over a grand to go all the way out to Pasadena, I want to see the game...not sit out in the parking lot!
This might be an option for some people, though. Especially if you have a friend/family member who has a ticket. You can still enjoy the trip together...just wouldn't be able to go to the game together.

And who knows? Maybe you can get lucky and get a reasonably priced ticket at the last minute.

I just so happen to be in the area during the Rosebowl so figure I should at least do something to experience it.
In that case, it may be worth your while! And, like I said...you may get lucky and score a ticket at the last minute from another fan.

Ol' Doodle is interested in thoughts on this VIP Hospitality thing as well. The description makes it sound pretty sweet. And $180 isn't a bad price to pay for food and drink and entertainment and whatnot. Since we're not schlepping our tailgating gear all the way to Cali, this might be a good alternative. Still trying to decide on the parade. But seems like something one ought to do on their first (and possibly only) Rose Bowl trip, especially with Little Doodle along for the ride.

I think it all depends on if you're going to the parade. I'm not a huge parade fan but who knows when we'll get to the Rose Bowl again spp I gotta do it to say I did it. Makes the hospitality stuff a waste of money though.
