It was mentioned in another thread that he is a possibility at OT this year, assuming we strike out on farniok and/or Jackson. He's currently a MO commit but looking around and visiting NE.

Question is, where is it anywhere that Iowa is in the picture? Please enlighten

My college friend could not tell me his source but I did find a couple of articles where Iowa was interested.

Newman is visiting Nebraska and has a soft verbal commitment with Mizzou. Neither programs are modern day NFL OL producers with great results.

I believe nebby islooking for a LT and Farniok is a guard or RT. Farniok seems to be more interested in Nebby than Iowa from recent articles.

Kirk and the coaching staff apparently making a big in-home visit with Farniok this week (possibly even today). Multiple coaches are expected to be in attendance.
