ISU is doing well against Baylor in the second half but can they hold the small lead?
This Hawk fan is rooting for them to win tonight. How far will IA's RPI drop if they do?
It will help Iowa's RPI a little.
But Iowa needs UNI, Delaware State, Memphis, UVA, and Seton Hall, UND and others to start winning. That will help their RPI as well.
Oh great , if ISU wins there will be wall to wall Randy Peterson in the Rag.It will help Iowa's RPI a little.

Another quality loss for Prohm. Gonzaga, Cincinnati, Iowa, and Baylor.ISU is doing well against Baylor in the second half but can they hold the small lead?

They're bringing in a stud PG but that won't solve their interior issues.
And that stud guard comes from the same Oak Hill that provided us Fleming. That does not inspire confidence in me. Bacon? Or the guy that committed to Penn State and backed out? The guy that committed to Ohio State and transferred? I didn't look these up so I might be wrong a bit. But I'm pretty sure the track record hasn't been that great, lately.
Fleming didnt even start at Oak Hill
I know what you're saying dan, but probably need to leave Bacon out of trying to prove your point. He's likely an all-ACC player this year. Generally, Oak Hill players are exceptional in college. And that stud guard comes from the same Oak Hill that provided us Fleming. That does not inspire confidence in me. Bacon? The recruiting class is allegedly pretty good, but I never get too excited about a recruit until he shows up eligible, out of jail, and within at least 3 inches of the height he's supposed to be.How is ISU going to be next year? They lose a ton and Prohm is no Hoiberg as far as recruiting or getting the transfers.
Why on earth would any Hawk fan root for ISU? I don't give a flip if it helps Iowa's RPI or not.ISU is doing well against Baylor in the second half but can they hold the small lead?

Yes, especially in a year like this one where Iowa's RPI and resume aren't likely to be close to an NCAA tournament bid.
Prohm might be a good coach, but my impression of him so far is he basically lets the players do what they want. Cyclones are talented enough to win a good number of games with that approach, but doesn't work so well in close games.

Good game by ISU just couldn't close it out. Probably their best game of the year. Baylor will likely be the new #1 team next week.
???Congrats on adding another quality loss to the resume! Really padding that column so far.
Maybe Lard will render. The recruiting class is allegedly pretty good, but I never get too excited about a recruit until he shows up eligible, out of jail, and within at least 3 inches of the height he's supposed to be.
