Even a Trump-appointed prosecutor has decided it's too much for her...

A rather astonishing letter here

Trump has definitely overstepped with some of his executive orders. There's no denying that.

Of course the left is inconsistent with their rule of law stance.

Obama ignored the Deepwater Horizon ruling. Biden ignored the SCOTUS ruling on student loan forgiveness. And so it goes. Selective outrage by both sides.

Rule #1 of politics. It’s only a foul when the other team does it.

What do you mean by ignored?

Because court rulings can often be narrow which means that the president can simply adjust the scope of what they are doing to fit within the court ruling.

The student loan forgiveness wasn't ignoring the court. The court said he couldn't do this carte blanche. So he stopped trying to do it carte blanche and was more selective. They never ruled that his more selective approach was unconstitutional.

While i wouldn't equate staff resignations with the demise of the rule of law (inasmuch as there is an oversupply of attorneys, and presumably these resigning attorneys will be taking jobs with law firms that seek the government's fee to the fire in litigation matters), this is sort of what you're supposed to do if you believe you are incompatible with a representation.

There is a pattern of executive orders overstepping the law. Obama famously admitted his dreamer executive order wasn't aligned to the law.

Ruling by EO is definitely 3rd rate, and IMO it's going to continue to escalate every time presidential party affiliation changes as long as Congress remains so divided on party lines.

This is not about Executive Orders

Obama ignored the Deepwater Horizon ruling.
Ummm…appealing a ruling isn’t remotely the same as flatly ignoring it. Btw…U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman who issued that particular ruling…yeah, he owned shares in Transocean - the company responsible for Deepwater Horizon. Oddly, he didn’t recuse himself due to that blatant conflict. But you don’t care about that, do you?

Did you bother to read her letter?
Care to comment on a DOJ engaging in this type of conduct?

Dude. Read the letter from the Trump appointed judge being told to drop a slam dunk case against Adams because he said some nice things about Trump and said he would look the other way when ICE comes calling. It's more corrupt than anything Biden even thought of doing.

get rid of gerrymandering.

If there is a God he will ensure a few well-place clots appear in arteries of our executive branch and its appointees.

It sounds like someone has folded and agreed to stand before the judge and ask for the charges to be dropped.
You can see the lifetime of Mafia associations with Donald Trump clearly in this situation. He didn't pardon Adams. He is having the DoJ drop the charges. Now he can make Adams his bitch until he's voted out of office. Now he gets preferential treatment. Now he gets favors for friends.
