Majia? Are you the guy that always mispells his name?
He would also have to work fulltime if looking to get instate tuition. That's fine? I have said greyshirt him from the beginning. Let him get his grades up, get in the room daily with Gilman, McD, Dennis, and Delgado, build his body some more, and then come in as a "TFR" ready to go be an AA.
Yo have to work full time to get in state? Can't just get an apartment with a PT job? Hange license to state of Iowa, get mail here, etc...He would also have to work fulltime if looking to get instate tuition.
Pretty sure to establish residency for tuition purposes he will have to work 40 hours a week for one year prior to enrollment.Yo have to work full time to get in state? Can't just get an apartment with a PT job? Hange license to state of Iowa, get mail here, etc...

I do not believe it is too late to look elsewhere. What school wouldnt take him if he met their criteria? My oldest goes to orientation this week and she said a lot of other schools are later. But then again this rumor is on the internet so it must be true.now he did not get in and it is too late to look elsewhere so he is screwed.
Sorry. I did not mean to be argumentative. My post had nothing to do with you personally, I was just trying to point out that it probably isnt too late. I apologize if I didnt word it well. I was addressing the rumor not you.Cumberland - like I said twice I have no idea on the veracity of any of it. I was just putting what the OP said in perspective. It was not simply posted on the ISU site he didn't get into Iowa. It was posted the Iowa coaches said they would get him in, now did not get him in, and he does not have other options. Not sure why you are arguing with me. I expressly said now multiple times I don't know if the rumor "is true" but what "is true" is the ISU board is saying the Iowa coaches said they would get him in, now they can't, and now he has to grayshirt or go JUCO.
I will stop bringing this up as I hope it all works out. But what ISU posters are saying is Iowa coaches said they would get him in so he stopped looking and now he is left out. Like I said, no clue what is true or not, but to be clear ISU and presumably very soon other school posters won't just be saying he didn't get in. They are and will be saying we mislead him by saying he would get in and now he is floating.
Why are you listening to a bunch of knuckleheads on an ISU board?Cumberland - like I said twice I have no idea on the veracity of any of it. I was just putting what the OP said in perspective. 110% bullshit... Not even close... Quite the opposite actually.
Says that Majia didn't get into Iowa either...
...or am I just way behind

Spooner - I agree 100 percent the rumor/concern was out there. What was not, which is what I raised, was the allegation that our coaches told him they would get him in but now can't and now he is behind the 8 ball. I don't believe any of it, but just pointing out what Clone fans are saying. That's it.
It wouldn't be a shock if he didn't get accepted, lets be realistic. SOMETHING happened that didn't get him into Illinois. If it was something as simple as a transcript error (I'm not sure what that error would be and how it couldn't be fixed), that's fine. But if it's really him struggling to get admitted academically and he just (understandably) doesn't want to admit that or have it blasted out their publicly, that can't come as a total shock. I don't buy for a second that TnT "hoodwinked" him to prevent him from going elsewhere until it was "too late". Especially since it's not "too late", lol. We'll just have to see where he ends up.
Cumberland - no worries. Sorry wasn't jumping u at all. My bad. Gobblin - I assume u mean BS on the rumor on the ISU board. Not that what I said was BS. For the last time, the OP said ISU fans were saying he didn't get in. All I did was clarify to point out what is being said is he didn't get in after the Iowa coaches said he would get in and now too late for him to do something else except grayshirt or JUCO. Just wanted to point out the BS rumors since I would never believe the Iowa coaches would guarantee acceptance. Sorry, should not have raised was only saying what ISU people, are saying. Which is way different than somebody just not getting in.
He retook a class and on his transcripts sent to Illinois he only listed his grade that he got when he retook it. Illinois hit him with falsifying his transcripts for not listing his redo grade AND his original letter grade in the class. That voided his NLI.
It wasn't intentional, but Illinois wouldn't let him in regardless.
Is it accurate that he is going to be denied admission?
Isn't that on Clovis HS, not on him?He retook a class and on his transcripts sent to Illinois he only listed his grade that he got when he retook it. Illinois hit him with falsifying his transcripts for not listing his redo grade AND his original letter grade in the class. That voided his NLI.

When I saw this, my first thought was that Spooner would be serving some guys some crow. Some of you guys couldn't wait to jump on him when Mejia committed.Nothing wrong with citing the ISU board but several of us have been posting that he wasn't likely to get into Iowa, either. And we got ripped for it. Been saying all along to beware of counting him. The Iowa coaches weren't.

Your HS filled out and submitted your applications? Damn, I'm gonna kill my Guidance Counselor.
