As the Russian invasion hit 100 days, one high-ranking Russian official offered a biblical warning Friday to the international community that’s rallied around Ukraine: The Horsemen of the Apocalypse are coming.
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council, was asked in an interview with Al Jazeera about a Telegram post of his listing 10 grave consequences for the countries that have imposed historic, wide-ranging sanctions against Russia during the invasion. Medvedev said these were not predictions, but “things that have already happened” — and then referenced the Book of Revelation in the New Testament.
“One can have different attitudes to it, one can believe that the Horsemen of the Apocalypse are already on their way and all hope is in Almighty God,” he said, according to the Russian state media outlet TASS. “However, one can still try to tone down this international situation.”
According to evangelical teaching, the apocalypse traditionally begins with a time of persecution of the true church. At that point, the Four Horsemen emerge: conquest, war, famine and death.
Despite Medvedev’s biblical claim, he said there was a path forward for the world leaders who have opposed and punished Russia over the past 100 days.
“We are ready to have a dialogue on all issues, but a respectful one that takes into account our sovereignty, our concerns, and is aimed at creating indivisible security; not in the interests of individual countries, but indivisible security,” he said. “And then these 10 consequences can be reduced — if we have the right discussions, if we negotiate in the right way.”

Sounds like he is trying to rally the american christian nationalists to Russia's defense.
