Rutgers Shoots 54% Field Goal Pct. Against Hawks

Rutgers ranked last in the Big Ten in offense. Tonight
they shot 54% Field Goal Pct.and Iowa shot 39%
The Hawkeye defense, turnovers, and poor passing
lost another winnable game. Congrats to Bohannon
for his 23 points and one third of the Iowa offense.

I watched the first 10 minutes, and Rutgers may have hit double digits in lay-ups or dunks. Easy to shoot a high percentage against us.

Can't fault Bohannon. Yes he makes some bad decisions, but put yourself in his shoes. The kid is hounded all over the court by quicker defenders who rotate in / out with the sole purpose of harassing him. If he gets a shot, it's a hurried launch from 25 feet. Without his 9-0 run, this game is over at the 10 minute mark in the first half. 7;51 mark, Iowa had 9 points from Bohannon and 4 from Cook. Defense was bad, but the offense was worse. Fran didn't give a crap after about 5 minutes in. Just threw guys out there with no concern for cohesion. Once I saw Ellingson, I knew he was waving the white flag.

I agree. We shot 39% and they shot 54%. Makes a big difference when you struggle defensively.
