Ryan Hawkins- NW MO State

What's you're expectations on how frequently I'll check the board?

Excuse me I didn't know we were being totally literal on it. They had an open scholarship but they weren't taking another big. It was slotted for a guard. They didn't really even recruit Hawkins at all.

If you hooked them up to a lie detector, I'd guess they'd much rather have him than Robert Jones as an example, he just wasn't available at the time.

FGS, your reply to LoneClone was wrong, there was room. Brockington is pretty much Kalscher clone so it's not like IA State needs a bunch of players exactly like that. A great-shooting wing (not a "big") like Hawkins seems to be exactly what IA State lacks - that was LoneClone's point. No need to be such a homer that you have to dismiss what he said. He was right. IA State should have at least tried to recruit Hawkins. Hell, if IA wasn't loaded with wings such as the Murrays, PMac and now Sandfort, I would have hoped that they would have pursued him.

I'm not being a homer. The ISU staff doesn't view him as a wing and that's why they didn't recruit him. Are they wrong? Maybe, I don't know.

Brockington is a good player, but from the little I know about ISU, he is a much better get for them than he would have been for Iowa. His strength is not his shooting.
