Well they are on their way. Hoping them a safe trip and a wonderful time and memorie that will last them a lifetime. I am proud to have been a Hawkeye fan for over 70 years.

Good to see Dom getting to spend time with his mom.....I think this says a lot about Fran and his care and concern for his players. It appears to me that anytime he has the chance, anytime it is feasible with all of the other considerations, he will do whatever he can to support his players.
Nunge is indeed tall, and now JBo looks even shorter, team wise. No matter, he's stone cold assassin!

You can sort of tell the guys who were able to sleep on the flight..., and those that weren't.they have landed; too bad the games wont be streamed!

Yeah, Nunge and Garza and Kriener look tall, but when photographed in an arc, the guys closer to the camera can look taller in perspective.

All of the countries they'll play in are 7 hours ahead of us here in Iowa so they're all night games. Hopefully they'll draw some nice crowds.

What a great experience for the players and coaches. One of the many things I like about this current roster is Fran has done it with "good kids." Not talking basketball skills ... people skills ... He's doing it the right way and I think the future of Iowa basketball is bright on many levels. Go Hawks!
