Sally is going to be a pain...

Hang in there man. Pensacola is taking it on the chin.

Thanks!

Sally came in at Gulf Shores, then turned hard east and crossed Escambia County north of Pensacola, and is now in Santa Rosa County near the Alabama line. Winds are still near 50 mph at my house according to the news.

My neighbor said I had about 8 inches of water over my yard when she evacuated this morning. I have no idea what damage was done to my house.

The 3 mile bridge from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze is missing a span.

I ended up with 23" of rain and max wind 60mph about two hours ago. We still have small limbs falling off trees in my neighborhood. It been a LONG event. We lost power the first time Monday night. Areas around Pensacola are trashed.

The super slow speed and incredible rainfall totals will make the damage horrific. My thoughts are with my fellow Floridians - hang in there.
