Just skip to Question #6.
Just skip to Question #6.
The answer to #6 is Sweet!!Impressive attitude
It was a loaded question, and even the interviewer said that it was just him and Sam having fun. Yet, the people on The G are busy calling him fat, and ripping him for getting injured. It's pretty patheticThe responses to that article from Gopher fans on their forum were rather harsh. The butt hurt from losing another top in-State recruit to another school still stings.
You would think after the last decade Gopher fans would have been able to adapt.
Regardless if Sam ever wrestles another match for the Hawks or not... gotta love his approach and mindset.
Gophers fans are just jealous. A lot of them on there were also complaining about the lack of fire and energy from their wrestlers and wished they had some spark like Iowa did.It was a loaded question, and even the interviewer said that it was just him and Sam having fun. Can you blame them? They were all high and mighty, full of themselves that "they had Kroells and didn't need Stoll" and saying how much better Kroells was than Stoll in HS. Now they see what a commodity Sam was (is...especially after Sam beat MK in Carver last year) and is yet another reminder of what a huge embarrassing failure they've become. It was a loaded question, and even the interviewer said that it was just him and Sam having fun. Almost every response it taking a shot at Sam. People on this message board have said stupid things, but the response on your board really isn't defensible.*some people are calling him "fat"
Just as *some people on here have called him "fat"
Also keep in mind the negative response a former IA high school wrestler received here for some of his comments of this forum and wanting to return to carver in maroon and gold.
Had that same wrestler said those comments as Stoll but about Iowa, there would be a major uproar here as well.
Every fan base has emotional idiots that say things that look poorly on the fan base.
I took it as a shot, the author provided some clarity that makes me see it in a different light. I am sure he is happy with the clicks he has received though haha. Unfortunately cat was already out of the bag at that point.

Reviewing all 27 posts currently there 7 are shots, 4 additional posts are borderline, 16 are not shots. Critiquing his wrestling style isn't not a shot IMO. His injuries and body size certainly is a shot in poor taste.Almost every response it taking a shot at Sam. Minnesota fans chant who hates Iowa while their team is playing Wisconsin or other teams etc. That is embarrassing.Iowa is MN's biggest rival. Similar to how you dislike MN, many Minnesotans dislike IA. Is any dislike for another sports team truly justified? It has always confused me how you don't grasp that concept.
Eggum runs clinics at Young Guns. They also do have a guy from PA in the lineup.
That is not the case for wrestling, but yes for other sports. You say embarrassing, I find humor in it. The Who hates Iowa chant was started during my wedding reception. My reception was in Iowa haha.Minnesota fans chant who hates Iowa while their team is playing Wisconsin or other teams etc. That is embarrassing.
Minnesota has exactly TWO guys from outside the State that have ever wrestled a varsity match when I reviewed the roster. Both 125s. If Eggum runs clinics... it sure hasn't paid dividends.Iowa is MN's biggest rival. Similar to how you dislike MN, many Minnesotans dislike IA. Is any dislike for another sports team truly justified? If we can't hate Iowa anymore then u have to move on from MN too!!!Minnesota has exactly TWO guys from outside the State that have ever wrestled a varsity match when I reviewed the roster. Both 125s. If Eggum runs clinics... it sure hasn't paid dividends.
This rivalry you reference is disappearing. The current situation at Minnesota is trending downward. You can't present facts to prove me wrong because they don't exist.
The Gopher fans need to find a new program to dislike. If Bono stays... there you go.
If we can't hate Iowa anymore then u have to move on from MN too!!!
Already have. For me It's been nebraska for some time now.If we can't hate Iowa anymore then u have to move on from MN too!!!
Hate Iowa all you want. Don't you think it's great at nationals when people cheer when we lose? I happen to think it's awesome how much Iowa is disliked, even in sports outside of wrestling. Clearly, we're doing something right. I've lived in the Midwest, West Coast, and the Bible Belt. The Iowa hate was surprisingly prevalent, across a lot of the country. Most likely because Iowa fans are everywhere, and we love to wear our black and gold everywhere we go. Watching the football games in the Iowa bar in Santa Monica is like being in DT Iowa City during game day. I was blown away. Moving to the East Coast next week. I look forward to the Hawkeye hate when I get there. That is not the case for wrestling, but yes for other sports. You say embarrassing, I find humor in it. The Who hates Iowa chant was started during my wedding reception. My reception was in Iowa haha.

You must have forgotten where you are...THE CESSPOOL!If we can't hate Iowa anymore then u have to move on from MN too!!!
Kroells has had a better career to this point. Bad example of "huge embarrassing failure they've become."Can you blame them? That's a lie. At the national duals in Minneapolis, the Minnesota fans were chanting who hates Iowa when they were wrestling some other team. That is not the case for wrestling, but yes for other sports. You say embarrassing, I find humor in it. The Who hates Iowa chant was started during my wedding reception. My reception was in Iowa haha.
I wasn't there so sorry that was off my radar. Iowa was at least in the building though. That's a lie. At the national duals in Minneapolis, the Minnesota fans were chanting who hates Iowa when they were wrestling some other team.
Yeah, you're right. I won't dispute that. There are plenty of other examplesKroells has had a better career to this point. Bad example of "huge embarrassing failure they've become."
Stoll's answer was entertaining. I hope he's able to get back physically.
One of my cousins lives in St. Cloud and her kids always talked down on the state of Iowa when they were in grade school. I'm not sure what the deal is.I was at a Zac Brown Band concert at Target field and heard people start the "Who Hates Iowa.." chant. I really don't understand it.
