Interesting that Nebby is going after him so hard after they signed Rider from CO. I believe those two wrestled in the finals of Iron man this year and Sasso pinned him. Nebby must feel one of them will be at 49 while the other will be at 57. Glad to hear M* is working hard! Hopefully the decision comes soon in Iowa's favor. I hate waiting LOL!

I would guess there were 1000 at the Nebraska vs MIchigan meet. Too bad 500 of them were there for the gymnastics. Did anyone else notice Nebraska was sharing their gym with a gymnastics competition. You could hardly hear Gibbons at times because of the dance music in the background. It looked like a middle school indoor track and field day. Manning will probably count the gymnastics fans in his attendance numbers.

I did see this. I was thinking why do I hear dance music during a wrestling match? Then they changed camera angles and it was like wtf! Talk about getting LEAN in the Nebby athletic department. Hilarious and a disgrace to the sport and I actually don't mind watching women's gymnastics. At least the US women are enjoyable, but this was ridiculous.

I think KJ keeps his job, he does have a few talented kids on RS this year and some more good ones coming in. Think because of that he gets a few more wait and see years.

Haven't seen that sentiment expressed on the BWI board, and I spend too much time there. And PSU already has Nick Lee and Berge coming in next year, followed by Joe Lee and RBY the following year. Not much room for Sasso at that weight range. Probably one reason why PSU isn't in his top 5.

Gibbons was actually on site for this dual? Most are recorded from studio in Chicago due to cost. Surprising this would be one they would have the full crew at.

Yes he was there. Hamberger ran over and gave him a tshirt after he danced around screaming "this is our house" for a couple of minutes after pinning Murphy. I think he was trying to intimidate the gymnasts.

Please tell me this isnt really a reference to District FIVE wrestling in PA???? at any given time they have about 6 or maybe 7 wrestling teams in the entire District !! as compared to other districts that have into the 30s or 40s of high schools competing within their district.
