That's right. Playing at home, the nation's No. 2-ranked team has exploded for 22 points in the first half and trails San Francisco by nine. That is all.

San Fran quit playing in the second half. I mean, I watched it, and they just flat out acted like they'd never played the game before. It was ridiculous.
I used to be a Gonzaga fan when they were unknown, but not anymore. They'd finish 11th or worse in the Big Ten this year. Minnesota is better than Gonzaga. And so is Purdue . . . at least most of the time.
I hope the Zags get beat early . . . like the first round.
Iowa > GonzagaThat's crazy talk. KenPom has them at #3.
They have wins over Kenpom #11 Arizona, #21 BYU and #25 Oregon.

That’s solid, but not really all that impressive. Iowa has wins over #8, #12 and #13 by comparison.
Iowa also has losses to DePaul and Nebraska.
Gonzaga only has a loss to Michigan.
There is no logical argument that Gonzaga would be a bottom 3rd Big 10 team. None.
They have the best set-up possible. They pull in talented players and their conference schedule doesn't wear them out like playing in the B1G or another power conference. Their players should always come into the tournament fairly fresh as they typically can just coast in the 2nd half as they are up 15-30 on most teams in their conference.
Where do you propose Gonzaga to go? No FB team, 4-5 thousand students in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Not going to get invited to the PAC 10, you don’t just say let’s join the Big 12, or even Mountain West. Again, 7 current NBA players, one who played in the all star game and 2 very good young guys in Clark and Haushamiri (sp). This is a tired uneducated argument.
I won’t argue that. Just simply pointing out the fact that Iowa’s 3 best wins are better than Gonzaga’s. You going to dispute that?
I got no beef with Gonzaga. Just would love to see them in a real conference.
Some short memories on here. They destroyed us in 2015 in the tournament in case some don’t remember. I understand every year is different but they have a championship game appearance pretty recently. Yes, their conference is weak but they are and have been legit for years.
Luvmyhawks yes, I get it which is why I asked specifically what conference you want them to go to. You then acted like a baby and cursed a few times and still said they should be in a better conference. So since you never answered my question, being in a remote location in the Pacific NW with no FB team, what conference should they join? The only real BB conference they could join that would make sense for them with like schools would be the Big East. But travel wise that can’t happen.
Sure they would lose games. Being a West coast team if they were in the PAC 12, which admittedly is the weakest of the Power 5, I’m guessing they lose 2-3 games, but would probably win that conference pretty handily. By all measurements right now they are a top 10 team regardless of conference. I guess what threw me was the comment of saying they would be 11th place in the Big Ten. That’s just not even close to right. I’m sorry. They would be easy top 4 in any power 5 league.
I haven't been a real big Gonzaga fan since the media made sure to help the Gonzaga women have home court advantage through the Final Four forcing a much higher-seeded Iowa women's team to play a road game against a obviously and intentionally under-seeded Gonzaga.
It's like okay, let's not make it too obvious.........
But Gonzaga's basketball programs haven't gone full on Alabama football dynasty so that's the one reason they haven't made it too high on my sh** list.
But if they continue to turn themselves into a Euro/worldwide semi-pro team, then I may change my mind.
