This probably sounds like hyperbole considering I'm comparing him to a guy that just got drafted, but Payton looks like a bigger and more aggressive version of Weiskamp. The fact that he has a little brother with Iowa interest makes it that much better!

I said it a couple games ago and will say it again tonight, Sandfort is a more complete player than JW was as a freshman. He may not have the career JW did, but he is much more versatile, willing to drive in the paint, and has a ball fake pull-up game JW didn't show much until last year.

Hes more skilled for sure and more crafty.

Im trying to think of a freshman that had a better feel for the game at Iowa and I'm coming up with Jess Settles and Tyler Smith as maybes.

I honestly don't know how you keep his minutes down this year.

Hes been the second most impressive player after Keegan.
