So we decided to get the hell out of Florida and go to Savannah for the week. Been wanting to go for a while and we figured why not? Any and all recommendations for places to go and things to see welcome. We are here till Friday.

Ha, just ate at Crystal Beer Parlor. It’s a 2 minute walk from our hotel. It was really good. The crab soup, chefs kiss

OP, my MIL/FIL live in Aiken and my FIL is always talking about these damn boiled peanuts they sell in GA. Dude has put on like 25 pounds in 3 years. If I were in the area I would definitely try those boiled peanuts just to see what he is always talking about.
This was recommended to us when we went and it was great. Get the flounder.
Alligator soul was really good.
Tour the sorrel weed house at night. That really got me. Had someone on our tour have “something” moving in the background of Live Photo that wasn’t originally there.
I enjoyed the bar at The Shrimp Factory - food ain't bad, but not the greatest.

Forsythe Park lost some trees from Helene, but it's a great city park.
I like to just wander the city square parks and admire all the old South architecture - beautiful city
