IOWA CITY, Iowa -- For the second-straight weekend, Mother Nature has altered the University of Iowa baseball team's schedule.
With the heavy amounts of snow projected for the Raleigh, North Carolina, region, the Hawkeyes have pulled out of this weekend's USA Baseball-Irish Classic. The Hawkeyes will play a three-game series against Cincinnati at the Perfect Game Baseball Complex in Emerson, Georgia.
Iowa will face off against the Bearcats at 12 p.m. (CT) Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. Sunday. All three games can be heard on Hawkeye All-Access on hawkeyesports.com.

Ah that stinks! Three buddies and I who are all local Hawk fans were cutting work early Friday and heading over and then I was taking my boys on Sunday. Damn this snow!

Also the schedule for the games at Houston Baptist on hawkeyesports is wrong. I was forwarded an email from Heller.

Iowa shows doubleheader Saturday and one game each Sunday and Monday.

HBU schedule(confirmed by Heller) shows one game each Saturday thru Tuesday. The HBU media office also confirmed it.

HBU doesnt have any lights at the field.
