Schedule for Midlands?

was thinking about driving up tomorrow. First session starts at 9 or 10? Also, is that just one round or is that two? I see the second session starts at 7:00? Just wondered how much wrestling would be going on during the day and how long the session lasts.

Anyone who can provide a link or info, it would be appreciated.

Session 1 starts at 9:30. They'll do R64 (not too many of those matches, but a few), R32, and R16. Plus 3 rounds of consolations. Again; not too many of the 1st round of consolations will have matches (if any), but still a lot of matches. It takes a looooooong time. Like 5+ hours long. It'll be nice this year that the arena will have nicer seats.

Session 2 will just be the Quarters and 2 rounds of consolations. Much more normal length of a session. Maybe around 3 hours?

I believe the 1 session will be wrestled to the quarters (3 rounds). 2nd session is quarters. 3rd session semis. 4th session place bouts.

It does say 930 EST.. For us at home in the Greatest state it will be 830. Flo says it starts in 3 hrs 15 min.

Whatever 'It' you're talking about isn't correct then. It starts at 930.

You are correct. Apparently Flo had it wrong. At 0515 it said it started in 3 hrs 15 min and 930 EST. My apologies. I deleted my post.

Whats the best way to follow mat assignments? I've used Floarena in the past but not available today. I haven't used Flozone is it the same as Track meaning you keep a browser open and keep refreshing to see upcoming matches? Its snowing outside and with the wind chill its below zero Im planting my butt on the couch and watching wrestling all day Go Hawks!!!

Also keep in mind that unless they changed it this year session three does a round of wrestlebacks immediately at noon on Saturday. You won't miss the semis if you (Sam) stroll in a little late.

Flo Zone is pretty neat. Basically, they hop around and cover different mats and I think they try to put commentary and eyes on whichever mat has the most intriguing bout. A lot of times they will hop to a mat where a possible upset is brewing. It's nice if you don't want to multitask and try hop around from mat to mat on your own. Definitely a great benefit for a loooooong tournament.

Does anyone know for sure if we start with semis right at noon or if we have a round of consolations first?

According to bout numbers there will be a round of consis first (bloodround). Track also shows the first 4 consi matches loaded on their ad-infested dashboard. Looks like we are down to 4 mats today. Go Hawks!
