And now we wait on Nebraska

Looks like now the Hawks have to play every other day and meet OSU 2 days later, but at least both are at home. Any chance CJ can be back?

Having only a 1 day prep for OSU definitely sucks. We do have the advantage with MSU as they have a game on Sunday.

These guys used to play several games a day when competing on the AAU circuit. They're in the best shape of their lives. Fatigue shouldn't be an issue. Offense comes naturally to most of these guys. Defense is a matter of will and desire.

This will test the teams mental fitness. A lot of travel during that stretch now. I'm not as worried about physical fitness as I am mental fitness. Taxing for some of these kids with the constant travel. Will be a test every game to be 100% locked in as a team at tipoff.

So let me get this straight: The Hawks will have to be playing 4 games in 10 days because other teams aren't careful about following COVID protocols? What's wrong with this picture???

We should be in some kind of offensive rhythm but tired and that hurts on the defensive end

I'm not worried about physical fitness - especially since they don't have to travel between games, but moreso the scouting/prep work for OSU. Have to imagine that won't be as thorough as usual.

It's a tough break, but not dissimilar to that one year that Iowa had to reschedule it's game against IU because a couple ceiling tiles fell down or whatever it was. Iowa then had to play a brutal stretch that sent them into a tailspin and never recovered from.

At least this time the first two games are at home and Iowa has a chance to have normal rest before the next game.
