FULL SCHEDULE (27 GAMES) RELEASED! Hosting MTE(Nov25). W Ill(Dec3), N Car(Dec8), ISU (Dec11) & N Ill(Dec13) @ CHA. Gonzaga(Dec19). No Gavitt Games

Some interesting points:

* According to the Big Ten’s schedule release, the conference’s 14 men’s basketball programs will be expected to follow the same protocols developed earlier in the fall, which include
---Daily COVID-19 antigen testing
---Cardiac screening
---Analyzing coronavirus data daily going into practices and games.

* Minnesota recently returned from a five-day pause after some players tested positive for COVID-19.

* Minnesota is still trying to complete their nonconference schedule (they have one more game to add).

Minnesota had a multiple-team event (MTE) planned for Nov. 28-30 at the Barn.
---Eastern Washington backed out so the Gophers are seeking another opponent
---The Gophers and Loyola Marymount still plan on playing..
---A possibility is for the Gophers to play LMU twice if the NCAA accepts a waiver.

So, 25 games follow. The final 2 games are yet to be finalized.

Hopefully the arena will require spectators to provide proof of a negative Covid test within 48 hours of the game, plus digital temp taking and mandatory face coverings.
Hopefully in March fans can attend games.

But now? I don't think we see any more than parents in the stands.

This was in the university's release:

Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, there will be no men’s and women’s basketball general admission single game or season ticket sales to home games at this time

The guys on KXNO are saying that one or two of Iowa's non-con games have been cancelled due to Covid on the visiting teams. I think one of the teams is North Carolina Central, I didn't catch the other possible scatch.

I don’t really see why they would have to cancel the game yet. Goodman reported that NC Central is looking to start practice on Sunday. If they need more time to get ready just keep Southern on that Friday and push NC central to next Sunday. A week should be plenty of time for them to get prepared in practice.

Should be easy to reschedule, google shows them with 2 games for 2020 lol

What follows was our original 11 game nonconference schedule.

NOTE:
The first 3 games was a home multi-team event (MTE); it was not a traditional 4 team tournament.

The Original 11 Nonconference Games:

1. Nov 10 vs Southern
2. Nov 13 vs NC Central
3. TBD vs South Dakota
4. Nov 24 vs UT Chattanooga
5. Nov 27 vs UMKC
6. Dec 10 vs Iowa State
7. Dec 19 vs Northern Illinois
8. Dec 22 vs Oregon State (at Sanford Pentagon in South Dakota)
9. Dec 29 vs Alabama State

Game 10: Early December ?: B1G/ACC Challenge (North Carolina or Louisville?)

Game 11: November ?: Gavitt Games (Villanova or Creighton?)

And I will add that it appears that the Northern Illinois game will be shown on BTN+ as that time slot on BTN is occupied by Penn St at Michigan.....

Looking through the numerous TV listings for the 13th of December I didn't see it listed on FS1 as it shows PBA Bowling in that time slot...thanks for the update...
