House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) said that “we saw today witness intimidation in real time by the president of the United States.”

His made his comments in response to Trump’s disparagement of Yovanovitch on Twitter to reporters outside the hearing room.

“Once again, going after this dedicated and respected career public servant in an effort to not only to chill her but to chill others who may come forward,” Schiff said. “We take this kind of witness intimidation and an obstruction of the inquiry very seriously.”

He walked away as a reporter asked if witness intimidation would be a separate article of impeachment.

LOL, the witness would have zero clue it went on had Schiff not read live tweets during the hearing.
1) Let's say Schiff didn't read the tweet, there is a recess, really good chance during the recess the witness would learn of the tweet; 2) Let's say Schiff didn't read the tweet, always the chance the witness is recalled for further testimony, in which case, of course, really strong likelihood the tweet will reach her; 3) You do realize there are more witnesses whose testimony is upcoming who are, of course, privy to this type of tweeted witness intimidation.

Schiff reading the tweet is not the problem. Trump, who is essentially on trial, trying to affect the proceedings via public forum is the problem. Anybody and everybody who testifies or reports or documents anything unflattering of him—never mind unethical and/or illegal—gets the smearing. At some point you're going to see this, and him, for what it and he is.

It will be an epic night for some of you in November 2020

Pretty sad state of affairs when the self-proclaimed party of law and order and personal responsibility no longer cares about law and order or personal responsibility - at least when it involves a fellow Republican. Might as well start calling yourselves the party of selective morals.
