Was reviewing the 2019 distribution chart and concluded we have several really well-stocked position groups. My assumptions are based over the players' film, offer list, and ratings.
OL: This might be the strongest of all the position groups. I'll be shocked if we don't develop a very strong line well into the future.
Secondary: I grouped safeties and corners together because some of our recruits can play both. We have some real talent stocked here and a coach that seems to develop them to high levels.
LB: The numbers are there and I feel pretty good about the guys in this group. We always seem to develop guys that can play at this position. It also seems there is above average quickness with these guys too.
RB: To send Brock another direction indicates to me we really like the Georgia kid (must be a silent commit) and the young players we have. I still am curious where Evans ends up
WR: The young guys were hyped pretty well, especially Tracy. Smith and Marsette are ready. Someone from Lockett, Marchese, and Cooper will turn out to be a stud as well IMHO.
Positions to focus on for 2020
DL: We're going to lose some damn good players and I expect AJ to be gone after his junior year. I like our DL for this year but we need to restock.
TE: Great position group now will need reinforcements. Brian likes TE's!
QB: Like Petras and Mansell. Not sure about Padilla. Need to get two in this class.
RB: Good young players now but will always take couple. Like the SE Polk kid (I think)
WR: Would love to get Bell and then another game changer.
