How many different Iowa players this season are leading scorers for a game. I know this is really just guess work. My point in asking is I think that although Jok should be most games that on any particular day it could be Cook, Moss, CW, Baer, Uhl, Jones or even Bohannon.
Thoughts???

If it is because Jok gets dinged up, we're in trouble. If it is because we get guys shooting hot, and the motion is that smooth? We're as good or better than I hoped.

My guess is the latter, unselfish play, taking what the other teams give us and yep guys getting in a rhythm and getting comfortable and hot. So basically better than you even hoped for, lol

After Jok, I would have Baer, Cook, the January 2015 shooting Uhl and a healthy Jones. CW should have the opportunity to so damage. Especially against smaller guards. If we have more than that, I would call it good.

For likely guys, I'd say Cook, Uhl, Williams and Baer. For less likely, I'd throw Moss and/or Dailey in.
 
Only 1 Jok is going 26 a game this year. Everyone else will just contribute.

Need 6-8 points a game from Baer and Wagner
Sleeper- Dailey

I think the real question is besides Jok- who isn't going to take the shot when the shot clock is winding down
 
Who is able to take the last second shot is a great question. It won't be MG and that's a good thing. But who takes the last second shot? For some reason I see Baer doing this. The guy does not seem to mind pressure. The inverse really. The more pressure the better. Now is his shot developed enough to take it? We will see.

Who else can handle the pressure and take a last second shot? Fran likes to use his PG, obviously. So hopefully CW can handle it. Bohannon took a lot of last second shots in HS... Lots of new players, so lots TBD.
 
My hope is it is in the flow and almost anyone steps up in the moment shoots it or drives and lays it off for easy score. Now what I really want to see is the other team with the ball and a Hawk stealing a pass or forcing one and getting a breakaway slam. Pressure and defense and rattle your opponent. Disrupt everything the opponent wants to do, run, run run !!!!!
 
It would be interesting to go back every year Fran has been here and look at the scoring at each position.

It would interesting to see what position in Fran’s offense has been the most productive… I get that talent plays a big role,
but Fran has consistently played 10 or more players each year….
 
It would be really interesting to go back & compile all of Fran's teams stats, but I have to go wash my hair.

Don't know about the percentages. Outside of Fran's 1st year (the only losing year), only 5 guys have averaged double figures for him: Jok, Uthoff, White, Marble, Gatens. White's the only one who wasn't a good to great shooter in that span and he was a stellar driver/slasher. Fran called all of them 2s or 3s. Cook will score double figures for him at the 4 (probably this year); but in addition to being a post player, he has a lot of potential as a driver and shooter. Who else will be the next great shooter/slasher: Uhl?, Baer?, Moss?, ?...
