They were talking on college sports XM today about how the SEC scheduling was ideal for the way the BCS was set up. Early losses could be erased for better bowl positioning at the end of the year. However, in the playoff era it could end up hurting them because right now, the only teams that have room to move are the ones with big games left. The Big 12, Big 10, and to a lesser extent the PAC-12. I'm not sure I agree with them as I need more data to see. The SEC will have a team in the playoff this year so I'm not sure it really is going to hurt them either way. However, it is leading to a much more interesting November in every other conference right now.
