Anthony Clemmons scored 20 and really did a nice job, defensively and running the
Point, when Mike was out. Mike had an off game, except for about 10 ASSISTs!!.

29 from Pete Jok

21 ? from Iowa's Wooden Award contender, Jarrod Uthoff

and

20 from Sappy.

It's a W and now 'we're on to Pittsburgh' er, Purdont/

He really has stepped up this year offensively. He's always been solid on D but hasn't been much of a presence from outside.

He's a true senior leader and I'm so glad he stuck it out.

Nobody mentioned Woody had 10 or 12 points too. He is scoring nicely these days - not lighting it up, but as good as we expected or hoped for.

Woody had a really good game, also. A DOUBLE Double. 12 pts 11 boards.

Mike certainly contributed well, too. 10 Assists and several steals, as well.

This group is really demonstrating what a TEAM is supposed to look like

Sapp did just what he needs to do: pick it up if Mike is having an off shooting night. Working together is what has made these two a pleasure to watch! Both great kids. Will miss them next year.

Anthony Clemmons has been under appreciated, by many Hawkeye fans, as well as the Sports journos, until lately.

Clemmons was fantastic, and time and again when he would make a terrific play the announcers were rambling about something and didn't even acknowledge the play. A couple times I saw a big smile on his face after he made a great play, as if he was just feeling it.

Did he ever have games like this one last season? So fun to see players peak their senior year. Woody and Uthoff are peaking, too.

Clemmons did a wonderful job in the flow of the game and not flashy. We hawk fans see it. When the team has multiple high scorers its easy for the announcers to miss his important contribution. Hope it keeps up.

those announcers missed a lot. They were too busy talking about all the Rutgers injuries and how wonderful they will be in two years. Great, they will be a .500 team then and never a threat to the NCAA brackets. Instead, you have a top 10 team with a Wooden Award candidate and the last two B1G POW. The studio guys on ESPNU were almost as pathetic too
