I am trying to figure out which seniors have eligibility remaining after figuring in redshirt year and Covid free year. If I understand it right, players have exhausted eligibility if they have played five years. This assumes they played in 2020 and that is indeed a free year.
If those assumptions and understandings are correct, I think the only seniors that cannot return are Riley Moss and Kaevon Merriweather. That would mean Noah Shannon, John Waggoner, Joe Evans, Monte Pottebaum, Terry Roberts, Nico Ragaini, Jack Plumb, and Seth Benson -- among others could all elect to return. Jack Campbell and Sam LaPorta would fall into that category too but I assume they are gone no matter what.
