We had a phantom pooper at Madison Elementary in Cedar Rapids during the ‘81-‘82 school year. He shit on the floor a couple times, in one of the urinals, and even in the half moon sink. He was never caught, but I think Harry the janitor is still hunting for him to this day.

Same deal at John Deere in Waterloo. I know a guy who worked there years ago. He told me that for several months while he was an employee, somebody on third shift was leaving fecal gifts in the middle of the floors of one of the large supply buildings. It stopped eventually, but like your phantom, the Deer bandit was never caught. Some odd ducks out there.
