Question for those in the know. What happened with the Seth gross situation? I know he got arrested for stealing or something like that, but why did he leave the team? Did brands kick him out or was there some rift between them that caused gross to transfer?

I'm asking because the young man seems to have made the most of his second chance opportunity at SDSU. I haven't heard of any further issues with him, so presumably he deserved that second chance. Why didn't he get it at Iowa? He would look very good penciled in at 141 right now.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

3 kicked off team. 2 left. 1 requested reinstatement and got it. Kind of a Montel deal. You will be held to a higher standard if you stay.

Seth wanted to sue the cops instead of taking responsibility. The staff wanted it to work out, but Seth chose the easy path. He is having a good season, but the truth is he tarnished the program. It's beyond a dead horse at this time.

This. Lost a ton of respect for the kid... He's far from the God fearing angel he portrays himself as. Prior to the incident I know the staff was very far from happy with his work ethic in the room also.

Seems leaving the program has lit a fire under him and he's gotten his act together, so good on him. But you'll never catch me rooting for him.

Thanks for the replies guys. I appreciate you guys sharing your insight on this and your other frequent contributions to this board.

Heil does it again. I've been no way for 2 years, I might have to get on board,,,,Na

Congrats Seth! He was a bit undersized at 141, but he looks great at 133 and working with Schopp has really given him an elite top game. From all I've heard he's a good kid and I'm not holding a one night lapse in judgement at a party where many wrestlers were getting drunk and acting crazy against him.

This. Choose to play the victim instead of accepting responsibility. His interviews with flo about his drinking habits were also bs from what I have been told. I don't wish him any ill will, but I'm not a fan of the way he handled things.

Was him or his parents to blame? I would hate to push an opinion of a kid, that was his parents making. Im talking about the threat of lawsuit, not the actions of the night in question. Thats all on him. his exit, I put on the parents, but defer to those closer to the program.

Yeah if Clark beats Tomato he should be ranked number 1. Tomato seems like a tough match up for Clark. Ahh what am I saying? 133 is a total crap shoot this year.
