Sheraton Hotel for 11/13 & 11/14

*Room has been sold* Have an extra room for the Sheraton for Friday and Saturday night. I know IC hotels are booked solid, so I thought I would offer this up here first before cancelling. Sorry if this is not the correct spot to post this. Room is already prepaid. 2 queen beds. $400/night is what I paid. Email below to make arrangements if interested.

This is why i stay out in Cedar Rapids or along I-80 when we come to games. The hotels in Iowa City just jack up the prices on home football games. It is crazy that the "dump" they call the travelodge charges you 200+ a night on home football weekends, but every other weekend its like 60 bucks to stay there.

Good luck getting rid of the room. I'll drive to stay somewhere outside of Iowa city.

I've traveled to 3 Hawkeye games this year mostly while buying tickets/lodging a month or less out by using Airbnb and had terrific experiences. It doesn't seem like Iowa City has caught on to 'room-sharing' as much as other places like Chicago. I realize the size differences in locations but for football games tens of thousands of visitors are coming into IC and I'm surprised more home-owners and renters haven't jumped on it. Something for people consider in the future because I've saved money and had experiences that have far exceeded hotels in terms of comfort.
