Watching the TT game. Shimonek threw a beautiful 30 yard pass to Willies for a TD. Only problem is that Willies dropped the ball.

No way! And before anyone starts in on losing Shimonek, he didn't want to wait behind Rudock and Beathard. Had he stayed at Iowa, he would probably been the starter this year and Stanley probably would have redshirted last season, but who knows, Its obvious that Iowa has been able to recruit some QB talent into the pipeline recently. Rudock, Beathard, Sokol, Shimonek, Stanley, Weigers, Mansell. Not a bad group. C'mon Max Duggan, there will be a spot for you in a couple of years as well........
