Per Marc Morehouse,
1. LT Boone Myers
2. RB LeShun Daniels
3. SS Miles Taylor
4. WR Jay Scheel
5. LB Bo Bower
I would say DT Nathan Bazata ahead of Daniels and Bower.
There are clearly unknowns heading into 2015.
Myers is clearly #1. Daniels was on route to a role in '14, then he got injured. The special teams true freshmen SS Miles Taylor and OLB Nieman are two upcoming players on the defense. WR Scheel is another in-state kid Iowa fans want to see contribute. Bo Bower makes move inside at LB. As a unit, Iowa needs this unit to step up and perform better.
Here's to a better 2015.
