DePaul beat both Iowa and Tech. Therefore Buffalo is #1

So, we can't be #1 now for beating the team that just beat the #1 team and who's best player actually did play 25 minutes in the Iowa game, and only scored 7 points.

Well duh, of course they’re better. They had injuries against Iowa he said. Doesn’t mention that Ramsey played, what 85% of that Iowa game and Iowa is injury free.... but never mind the details.
And we were injury free that game. Garza required zero stitches and Bohannon was totally healthy. Oh and Nunge had an ACL.

The obvious comparative scores thingie would be Iowa>Tech>Louisville>Michigan>Iowa.
We all know the best team doesn't always win the game. With that being said, Texas Tech isnt playing like a top 25 team right now and Iowa is.

Well, here are the facts: Iowa beat Tech by nine points and was in control pretty much the whole game. Tech just beat #1 Louisville by 13. Michigan and DePaul had uncharacteristically great 3-point shooting nights against Iowa.
Opinion: Iowa is a very good basketball team that is likely to continue to improve. Garza is playing like an All-American, and even people around the country are having to admit it. Weiskamp may be about to emerge, CJ Fredrick has Bohannon-like 3-pt skills, Joe T is adapting to the college game, and Iowa's defense and rebounding may be improving.
BTW: Penn State beat top ten Maryland last night, one game after Maryland escaped Illinois by one point. The Big Ten not only has some great teams, it has a whole bunch of very, very good teams that will beat great teams now and then, so fasten those seat belts. This should be fun.

I love the transitive property game in college sports. Especially early in the season.
