He is clearly not able to do his job. He impeached Mayorkas for not doing his job. By the same standard, Johnson should be impeached, as well.

He shouldn't be impeached for the same reason Mayorkas shouldn't have been impeached. Impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors.

That would be a pretty neat trick given that impeachment is a remedy against Article II and III officials.
(FWIW, the remedy you're looking for, which is a simple matter of House procedure rather than a constitutional provision, is "motion to vacate")

That’s the point Huey is making. If Republicans didn’t have their heads so far up Trump’s ass, they’d realize impeachments are for serious crimes or issues of moral turpitude. You know, like a lot of the shit Trump did after the 2020 election.
Instead, they buy into Trump’s bullshit about the impeachment over 1/6 being nothing more than a political witch hunt, and clearly think that means anything goes in the way of impeachment.

I have to say (and this is not intended to be a slight to you), there is a certain humorous irony associated with the suggestion that some sort of independent public-spiritedness is a defining part of the job description for the SoTH, at a time where our legislative branch is as close to a parliamentary system as it has ever been. This is the most intensely political job there is, after POTUS.
He did his job, which is to make what his party wanted to happen. His party just happens to be in the wrong on this one.
