Just let the NFL draft any college player they want. You own the rights to that player. If a player wants to leave after their freshman year, so be it.

If the 5 years to play 4 seasons rule remains in effect now, any player that has time remaining inside those parameters should be allowed to return. The NCAA should take the stance that unless you have signed a professional contract, you are still an amateur.
Using the "entering the draft" or "sign with an agent"as the status bar to measure these kids is rediculous. Let them test their economic prospects like any other student is able to. If a student inquires what his duties and pay would be at McDonalds why can't a kids ask the same of the NFL or NBA.

You could, but NCAA would find a way to not let it happen 2x.
