Personally, I feel that all the vocal dissension over the last few years has played a large role in the philosophical changes Ferentz has made this year. I am not sure we'd be 12-0 right now if "Cautious Kirk" was doing things. I like the new and improved Kirk.

Money talks. Boosters, alumni, fans donating, all of these things matter more than forty people on a message board like rivals upset he took a knee in the horseshoe.
